EA Sold College Points, Then Removed Their Main Use — This Is Unfair

I am posting this because I need an official answer from EA, and I suspect other players may be caught in the same situation.

On July 10, 2026, at approximately 11:48 PM, I purchased about $150 in College Points on PS5 specifically for use in Road to Glory and Online Dynasty.

EA had posted at 8:19 PM that paid progression would be removed from those modes 24 hours later. I had not seen the announcement when I made the purchase. When I learned about it the next day, I immediately contacted PlayStation and EA.

PlayStation denied my refund because the College Points were automatically delivered to my account as soon as I purchased them. I never had an opportunity to stop that delivery.

I have spent none of the points.

EA Support has now told me in writing that:

The points will no longer be usable in Road to Glory or Online Dynasty 24 hours after EA’s announcement.

Using the points before the cutoff could affect my eligibility for any refund.

That leaves me in an impossible position. EA is telling me not to spend the points if I want to preserve refund eligibility, while also telling me those same points are about to lose the use for which I purchased them.

I am not asking to use the points and also receive a refund. I am asking for a fair remedy for a completely unused $150 balance that I purchased for features EA is now removing.

EA Support case number: 250499480

I am asking EA to provide a clear official answer:

Will completely unused College Points be refunded?

Will they be converted or given another equivalent use?

Will players with unused balances receive compensation?

When will affected players be contacted?

If you are in the same situation, please reply or upvote so EA can see how many players are affected. I would appreciate an official response from the College Football team.
