RTG needs fixed

I’m a QB for the Arkansas Razorbacks in RTG. I was a 5-star QB and the #1 recruit in the nation. I play on Heisman. I redshirted my first year, won the starting job the next season, and ended up getting sacked 47 times.

Were some of those on me? Absolutely. My offensive line wasn’t very good to begin with, so I expected to take more sacks than normal. But I was getting hit on what felt like 60% of my dropbacks, maybe even more. If I got 3 seconds in the pocket, it felt like a miracle. Most of the time I’m getting hit right as my WRs are making their first break. If they blitz, I might as well throw the ball away.

I’ve also tried making pass protection adjustments. They definitely help incrementally, but they don’t fix the overall issue. Against any defensive line—and I mean ANY defensive line—I’m under constant pressure. I don’t even have to mention play action or designed bootlegs. But honestly blocking been an issues for a long time now with Madden and CFB. 

So basically my options are:

• Hold onto the ball and take 50-65 sacks a season.
• Throw it away or force a quick throw just to stay alive, which tanks my completion percentage.

That alone is frustrating, but here’s the biggest issue.

We went 10-2, made the College Football Playoff, and lost to Texas. I decided to stay at Arkansas because I figured the coaching staff would recruit around me, especially on the offensive line.

Instead, the next season starts and it’s basically the exact same team. I checked the entire roster.

• Not a single freshman.
• Not a single transfer.
• Same offensive and defensive starters and backups (unless someone graduated).

My offensive line is still:

• LT: 77
• LG: 86
• C: 77
• RG: 77
• RT: 77

In what world does a coaching staff have the #1 recruit in the country at QB, watch him get sacked 47 times, and then not recruit a single offensive lineman… or anyone at all? 

Also the draft projection feels backward literally. Good game I go down bad game I creep up. 

It honestly feels like recruiting isn’t working correctly in RTG. If this is intended, it completely kills the immersion. If it’s a bug, I really hope EA looks into it.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this just my save, or are other people seeing the same thing?
