Anyone else having trouble hiring staff? I took a HC position coming from a DC in Week 1 of Bowl Games. Week 2 I try to hire staff. Click on the view candidates and it acknowledges the click, but nothing ever comes up for candidates, it just sits there. Same for when I proceed to next week, and then the game auto assigns you coordinators.
So this title update didn’t fix that? That kinda kills a coaching career for offline guys who want to start as an OC/DC to move up to a head coach. What a waste.. love how EA NEVER responded to my post. It’s just frustrating it wasn’t a problem in 25/26, but all the sudden it’s an issue in 27.
There’s no solution they just didn’t code the game properly for getting promoted to HC. I’ve tested it and figured out this only happens when you’re hired to a new job (I believe from being an OC/DC) the game still has all the settings turned off to coordinators until after you reach the offseason. You can change your coordinators at the end of year 2 once the ability is unlocked.
This was an issue in the beta and I reported it back then. Terrible it's still in the game. This is game breaking for a coordinator career dynasty. I hope this is fixed in tomorrows patch.
