command and conquer 4 not accepting CD key:

Hi!

I have the game Command & Conquer via the platform Origin, when trying to start the game I get prompted to enter the code, which I do but it then replies that already have been used.

Please advise.

I paid for this game and would like to play it, thanks in advance!

    Hi @Digital_Trucker Apologies for missing this, try selecting the following:

    • Command and Conquer: The Ultimate Collection  | PC  | Manage my account  | Manage account details

    You might be able to click this link, however, if it errors out just use the selections above. With C&C 4:Tiberian Twilight being an older title it does not have its own selection available.

    Hi @Digital_Trucker @kenanbos To check are you getting this message in the Origin client or the newer EA App client?

    Also to confirm have you already reached out to our support to confirm we are using the correct account?

  • @EA_Illium In my case the problem has occurred in both the Origin client, the EA App client and in the game. I purchased the game in 2017 on Steam and had it installed and running on my computer (which has gone through the Windows 10 to 11 upgrade and a Windows 11 refresh). When I attempted to run the game yesterday it went through the "first time" process and the game refused to allow me to play (gave me the "key has already been claimed" error. Same thing happened in both clients. I used the same EA account that I originally used when installing the game originally. One thing that I noticed when running the game was that it would not allow me to choose any of my previous personas (I created a new one).
    I have not reached out to support to verify that that y'all are using the correct account (the possibility didn't occur to me). I will do so and post back here if that was the case.

  • @EA_Illium One "minor" problem with contacting support. The very first step to being allowed to contact support is entering the game or service that the request is regarding. Unfortunately, the game I am having a problem with (C&C 4:Tiberian Twilight) is not an available option.

  • @EA_Illium No worries. Not sure where I came up with the idea (or if I just did it), but I did exactly that and am in the process of trying to get it resolved with support (going kind of slowly, though). Evidently it's some kind of account problem as support is telling me that my code is associated with a deactivated account (I don't have any deactivated accounts). Hopefully will be solved soon.
