EA, you have ruined Aggro decks with this new tech unit update. I’m seeing tech come out really fast now. Mammoth tanks after the first missile and sometimes during the first missile if it’s stalled enough.
Mid range units like war and air are useless now unless you start out with them instead of starting with the barracks.
So now you can only rely on tech if you want to win.
Actually it takes more tiberium to get a tech lab going. For every building you pruchase, the tech lab's price decreases by 30 tiberium. It starts with 150, and if you purchase any of the 3 unit specific buildings, you need 120 for the tech lab. The next purchase of those 3 buildings gets you to 120. The last one gets to 60 tiberium. The price however in not meant for players to tech immediately. It will still cost 150 or more in the long run. It can even cost 180 if both war factory and airfield is purchased. Currently, I struggle with attack bike rushes cause of my new deck layout.

Maybe its because he used other units before proceeding to tech. What units did he use before he threw out the tech? Were they air units, vehicles and/or infantry?
I’m seeing the same as before in regards to what people are using. Most use barracks or war factory and then tech.
I used to always get the first missile and defend against one or two tech units for the 2nd missile. Now I’m seeing tech come out directly after the first. Sometimes during the first if it ends up getting stalled for a few seconds here and there.
Somehow it has sped up.

You could delay them from trying to tech by destroying his harvesters. I always do that and aim for his harvesters when he has no units on the pads. If he tries to defend it, destroy his units along with his harvester.

There are maps where this is extremlely difficult to do, since their harvesters are so very far away from your base. They can always send reinforcements faster than you can send more attack forces. Especially Master League is infamous for such maps. ☹️
ya tech decks are running the game now aggro decks are pretty much dead its complete BS on the Devs part for this
also its super hard to kill mammoths which is dumb also
something needs to happen here the game is totally F'ed
So we went from being forced to have an aggro deck to be competitive in high level play to being forced to have tech? As far as I was concerned , the over emphasis on aggro decks was ruining the game before. I'm sure we'll all be able to adapt to the game as it changes.

The more money they spend defending their harvesters, the harder it is for them to tech. Pressure them so they can't tech. Wish teching had some major consequences, like more expensive units. I hate fighting titans, sandstorms, centurions and rock-worms.

If you keep allocating your resources to trying to get his harvester before the first missile , you’ll lose the first missile. A defender always has the advantage.
