Having freezing issues in older pc and windows ?? I found a solution that might work for you...

How I stopped Command and Conquer : Decade games from freezing soon after staring in my Windows 10 Pro 32 bit :
Set shortcut properties to :
1 = run as admin
2 = run maximized
3 = set sompatibility mode to Win98/Me which can be chosen manually but trouble shooter will only offer to test as far back as Windows XP. :-))) ;-)
