I was wondering if anyone can tell me why why old Command and Conquer Kanes Wrath and Tiberium Wars saves keep getting wiped.
All my save data from missions, difficulties and skirmishes keeps getting wiped, and frankly it is pissing me off.
Using W10, not playing many games these days.
This has just happened to me, too - yesterday I was playing it, using custom maps, and today - following an update that I couldn't reject - all the saved data and custom maps are gone. Eternally grateful to anyone who could resolve this!

This might be related to a recent change to the names for save folders. You should be able to access your existing saves by changing the names of the following folders:
C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath
C:\Users\<user name>\SavedGames\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath
C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\Command and Conquer 3 Kanes Wrath/Profiles

b)why didn't I get a choice on whether or not to update?
