I feel like I repeat this advice a lot, but it really is important - Keep pressure on your opponent at all times, cyborgs are expensive, make them truly have to pay for them at the expense of other things. Thankfully there is one difference in how much advice I can give this time around because I actually have a replay of yours to watch, you have no idea how nice that is :P.So lets take your replay above for example, your opponent went dual harvesters while you took the missile platforms, but in this circumstance taking the missile platforms is actually not the right play, your opponent is handing you control of the map and you need to take it, punishing them heavily for spending that money on harvesters by assaulting them with what at this point will be superior forces because they just spent all their money on harvesters instead of paying attention to what you are doing, its fairly likely you could have gotten at least one harvester kill and badly damaged the other then thrown that newfound income into an advantageous lead all while still likely winning the first missile.Another thing, though this is a bit unrelated, something you'll notice from high level games is that the most common build order is barracks -> infantry -> harvester; the reason for this is that its important to scout your enemy early to know what they are up to, if they're going to rush you early and how much leeway you have to be aggressive against them, like say, if they go straight for two harvesters.Otherwise all I can tell you is to use those riflemen against cyborgs, yeah its a huge pain to build them late game and they aren't the most effective but the actual answer you're looking for (snipers) doesn't unlock until level 12 for some reason and gdi is lacking in that area before then. Well, and good strongarm turret positioning while they're engaging riflemen can make their retreat difficult without taking a bunch of damage, or you could always go with the counter I used against them up until I got snipers - Ion Cannoning them from orbit, it may not be the most efficient counter in the world but it sure is effective and versatile :P

not bad, I saw you tried to claim the center platform with a harvester at the exact wrong moment, you should have sent it to the rightmost platform, nothing there but infantry and if they diverted a titan to deal with it you'd win center. Regardless though,nice game.Also great to see another person posting replays here abydos, nice bike rush.

Stud another thing of note in that game is although you won you had an opportunity to seal up the game before it got to that drawn out titan battle at the end you had center plat with wolverine and titan if you moved them up to the part of the platform closest to your enemys base you would have blocked them off from ever contesting it always remember after you win a battle your next priority is getting position to win and blocking your opponents troops from even having the access can be the diference between winning and losing

Also jade if you watch that reply sacking the harvester on center plat is what prevented the missle from firing in that situation as his titan was out of position giving the circumstances if he had not done that it would have went to a third missle

thanks for the advice, I'm just coming out of forgetting to use harvesters to using them poorly haha
I've been having a lot of rough matches today so my positioning was really passive because I kept figuring I would have to run, but yeah it would have been better to block aggressively. Just too many games with cyborgs and catalyst missiles on that map and no power counters.

ah, I see now, missed it on first watchthrough, regardless I'd have sent a harvester over to the right much earlier, probably when it was empty after the titan wiped out the rhino that was moving over there also snipes is completely right about unit positioning on that platform, that also would have ended it much sooner

Yeah, still check in here, always happy to see new replays from folks, especially those in such different metas and wow that literal last second win, I've never seen a game get so close to a draw on time. You did fairly well on the counters there, sticking to low cost missiles when economies were slow was smart, seems your opponent forgot they could build riflemen :P
