Re: Everything dies - Red Alert 2

@erosaf

Units blowing up is usually a problem linked with the old game copy protection, or the game not being installed correctly.

Seeing as you've downloaded it from Origin and its installed, this shouldn't happen. I did a quick search and a moderator suggested to do the following:

Restart your computer with a clean boot.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/929135

Then run Origin as administrator, and try again.

Not sure if it's going to help but worth a shot.

    I've just rebooted as you suggested. I'll let you know if this works or not.

    If it doesn't work, a reinstall of the game is generally advised. I know my brother had to reinstall the Origin version of RA2/YR a couple of times before it stopped doing that.

    And, always make sure the game runs as administrator.

    @erosaf - hmm that's not good. Can you check My computer > device manager, make sure your network card isn't displaying a yellow question-mark?

    Did yuo try disabling the Origin In Game feature for the game? It's an option in the game's settings in Origin.
