[Updated]: After 12 hours of doing below, I just re-opening EA App and try to Download again. It's work, I don't know why but just one thing I notice is the size of the file difference from approx. 8 GB to 15 GB. Not sure why it works. Now I can download and install, and play the game. Hope something below help.
I have the same issue. EA support online suggest some solutions.
- Check DirectX 9.0c Method1: Press Win + R, type dxdiag, and press Enter. In the DirectX Diagnostic Tool, look at the DirectX Version line under the System tab. (Note: This will show your system’s main DirectX version (like DirectX 12 on Windows 10/11), not specifically if DirectX 9.0c is present.)
- Check DirectX 9.0c Method2: C:\Windows\System32 Look for files named like d3dx9_*.dll (for example, d3dx9_43.dll). If these files exist, DirectX 9.0c components are present.
- Temporarily disable Antivirus/Firewall
- Clear the EA App Cache: Use the App Recovery tool in the EA App. Go to top left of EA App then click triple dash > Help > App Recovery
- Delete Cache Manually: Open the Run dialog (Win + R), type %localappdata%, and press Enter. Delete the EADesktop and Electronic Arts folders.
- Run EA App as Administrator
- Reinstall/Uninstall the EA App
- Update Windows and Drivers
