Just escaped the Valor with the singularity core, had the conversation with Kendra about the crew deck door now being unlocked, but haven't got a notification to say that Chapter 9 is complete, no achievement has popped and nothing to say I'm now on Chapter 10.There are no main objective to track / follow and the crew deck door is locked.Tried all the usual stuff, reboot the game, reload an earlier save etc but the game still won't let me progress past that point.Xbox Series X, Digital Deluxe version

Hey everyone, Thank you all for the feedback. It has been forwarded over to the team each chance I get. As of now, there has not been a new update. Currently, the only viable workaround is a new game that we know is not fun, or loading a save in a previous chapter.If you load a previous save, save it as a new save file, close the game, and reload into the new save file.I know this is not ideal, but at the moment I am afraid that is all of the info we have from the team. Under investigation. Accepting as solution for visibility purposes only.

Same. On PS5.
Tried previous console and cloud save, uninstall reinstall no luck.
No main mission and door is “locked” (red)

Same for me playing on PS5. No older saves from before the issue so can't play any further as the door remains closed, despite VO cue suggesting otherwise.

Not yet, unfortunately it's been radio silence from the development team. Contacted EA Help through twitter but they just directed me back to this forum saying somebody will get round to looking at it soon.
So far I've gone back and started a new game from scratch, put the difficulty on "Story" and started a speed run of the game. After 3 hours I'm back on the HM Valor, knocked the difficulty back up (because I want the achievement) and going to see if the glitch happens again.
I'll keep you all posted.

So, just completed Chapter 9 on my new game and can confirm it works. I'm now on Chapter 10 and have got the achievement.
Its a crap work around seems as I put 7+ hours into my first save for nothing, but at least I can carry on with the story again.
If you want to make a new save and run through real fast on "Story" like I did that's up to you. Everything dies In 1-2 shots and you self heal on that difficulty so takes very little time at all to get back to Chapter 8. Raise your difficulty back up before fighting the leviathan again so you start Chapter 9 on your required difficulty so you can still get the missing achievement.
Hopefully they can patch it out soon, but this is my work around for now.

Hi I'm still having this issue. Like everyone says chapter 9 just doesn't end, and chapter 10 never starts. Daniels gives the audio cue to go to crew deck but the door remains locked and there's no main objective. I backtracked and made a save on the valor and tried replaying it multiple times but no luck at all.
