Chapter 9 Glitch - Can't progress story

Just escaped the Valor with the singularity core, had the conversation with Kendra about the crew deck door now being unlocked, but haven't got a notification to say that Chapter 9 is complete, no achievement has popped and nothing to say I'm now on Chapter 10.

There are no main objective to track / follow and the crew deck door is locked.

Tried all the usual stuff, reboot the game, reload an earlier save etc but the game still won't let me progress past that point.

    Hey everyone,

    Thank you all for the feedback. It has been forwarded over to the team each chance I get. As of now, there has not been a new update. Currently, the only viable workaround is a new game that we know is not fun, or loading a save in a previous chapter.

    If you load a previous save, save it as a new save file, close the game, and reload into the new save file.

    I know this is not ideal, but at the moment I am afraid that is all of the info we have from the team.

    Under investigation. Accepting as solution for visibility purposes only.

    After cutscene ending Chapter 9, there are no objectives and the game does not begin Chapter 10.  The door that is supposed to unlock (Crew Deck door) does not unlock at this time, either, like it is supposed to.  There is no way to move forward in the game and I do not have any saves prior to the glitch to try to go back to.

    The error may have something to do with a loop after launching the nuke. The nuke somehow respawns after launching it, and something gets broken downstream. If you show the devs this Reddit thread, I’m sure they’ll have an idea of what to look for.

    I’m still having this issue on PS5, where the crew door is locked and won’t open after leaving the ship and returning to the Ishimura

    When I was playing today chapter 9, I entered into the supply depot mission and the office on the left you go in to start the campaign has a locked door and a door console you have to pull the cover off and hot wire it to unlock the door. This door console is not working as it doesnt show the little dial in the screen that you spin around to highlight the dark blue sections to unlock it. Its just blank! The sound works but no dial or hit marks to unlock the door, So I cant advance into the supply depot from that room. 

       I have tried restarting the game several times and changing things in visual menu like going from 4k 120 hz down to 1080p 60hz and turning sync on and off, but nothing helps so I had to quit playing. Never had this problem till origin changed to EA client.  My system is windows 11 -Steam  Intel 13800k processor, 128 GB Ram, RTX4090 video card and 3 Samsung 4TB M.2 sd's.

    @itsmerandyb Hey moved your thread to this one as we are tracking these issues. If the info on this thread doesn't help, please post the info above so we can get a closer pair of eyes on this one.

    It may come down to loading a previous save, but if that doesn't work just pop in the above so we can get a spot light on things.
