I've escaped the USM Valor 3 times from a previous save, however when I finish the conversation with Daniels and she tells me to go to the Crew Deck, my game doesn't pop with the "Chapter 9 completed" and I don't get another main objective. I don't want to have to restart my whole game just to get past this bug.

Just picked this game up for the PS5 and ran into this. I'm sorry, but how the hell is this still a bug? Its a linear game, not some complicated RPG, there's literally no excuse. Looking through the forum, this been known since the release and now its nearly August and its still broken? I saved before realizing it was broken so the "official fix" will not work (and the autosaves don't help either as they only date back a few minutes). I'm not going to replay 10 hours. Honestly, this will be the last game I will ever buy from this company.

I've the same problem since April. So it's not possible to finish chapter 9 respectively enter chapter 10.My last savegame is just before the singularity core.I've tried several ways:- reinstalling the game (with and without latest patch 1.006)- load the oldest savegame- go back to the nuke which appears every time again and reinitialize the sequence-...I don't understand, why EA isn't doing anything?! I have tried reloading from a previous save a few times. Unfortunately my earliest auto save was after I had picked up the singularity core and about to enter the large room with multiple twitcher enemies. Unsure if it would fix it with an even earlier save but I can't go further back than that.

@EA_Illium Dead space chapter 9 after escaping the valor there are no objectives to follow and the crew deck door is still red

Disc version PS5 and hard mod not impossible
after escaping valor no objective to follow, no trophy earned for chap 9…
i tried to reinstall the game without update and its worst
no other save except during escaping Valor
please fix it

I'm having the same issue discussed here. PS5, disc version. I've checked YouTube clips, and the chapter complete message/chapter 10 begins message didn't come up when they were supposed to. I've attached a screenshot of what the mission log looks like.
Any help would be appreciated, as I've been running around the ship so much that my autosaves don't go back far enough to re-do the end of the Valor mission ☹️

Having the same issue. Have went back multiple saves and replayed with the same issue. Chapter 10 does not start, the crew deck door remains locked and I end up with "no main objective".
Currently a game breaking bug for me.
Over 10 hours in I do not want to start again. Any progress with a solution?
