Constant Stuttering 1660 Ti

Dear Support,

I just bought Dead Space recently and I'm having some serious performance issues. I'm just curious what kind of feedback you're getting regarding the GTX 1660 Ti.

The game can normally run around 80 to 90 fps, but I gapped it at 60 cause I know I'm not getting 144, however it's constant stuttering especially when I'm entering new areas, turn around quickly or multiple enemies spawn. My config should be more than enough to run it at a decent graphical setup. I played around with the settings, but it's almost looks like there is basically no change regarding the performance which is really weird. Also what's the strangest for me is that I have seen people benchmarking it on the gtx 1650 and runs much better based on those videos.

So could you please provide some feedback regarding that or will there be an optimisation patch in the coming days?

Thank you in advance!

Best regards,

Richard

I have attached the config and the performance via Nvidia during the game.

    Hi @A3exhunt3r

I wanted to check if you are still running into stuttering issues? If so let us know the following.

    Platform:

    PSN ID/Xbox GT:

    Region:

Are you using an internal or external drive?

Are you using an HDD or SSD?

Date this issue started (is it still happening?)?

    Is anything else happening?

If possible, share a Screenshot or Clip...

If on PC, please share a DxDiag

    Cheers!

  • Hi @EA_Illium

I don't know what you guys did in the previous patch, but it's running much much better, still there are some problems, but it's at least playable now for me, so some progress.

    Platform: PC

    Region: Hungary

Are you using an internal or external drive? -> Internal

Are you using an HDD or SSD? -> SSD

Date this issue started: Since launch basically and still exist although to a lesser extent

Is anything else happening? -> No, I couldn't recall anything else. It's just the stuttering and the random fps drops.

    Clip:

Note to the clip: it's usually not as bad as it can be seen in the video, I just tried to find an area in the game where it's really visible. Often it stays like that after immediately entering the game but 50-60 seconds later it gets much better/playable. However it's still happening even after that to some extent.

    DxDiag:

    Thank you in advance!

    Cheers!
