Dead Space - All game file saves deleted after crash - also deletes other files

hi 

Can anyone help resolve Dead space issue repeatedly deleting all save files on PC and unable to restore from cloud

Im using version on xbox games pass on PC, EA client auto installs with it.

IVe tried app repair, still all saves have gone.

In my documents i found the folder where saved files are normally, i backed up once to same folder, the EA client or game also deleted these too - concerned may be deleting other files too

Welcome any help - the youtube video with Steam client didnt help as all my files dissappeared. This issue has reoccured 2x, so frustrating
