Dead Space 2 servers broken

For over a week and a half now, the servers in Dead Space 2 have been completely broken. Every time after you press > on the title screen you are greeted with an error message saying “Unable to connect to the EA Servers, please try again later.” At first I thought this was a problem only I was having, but after asking my friends and many other users, they’ve all been having the same problem as well. I’ve also tried everything to fix it, uninstalled and reinstalled DS2, deleted my Xbox profile, restarted my internet as well as my Xbox One, but all to no avail. I hope EA fixes this because the Multiplayer is still quite active.

    Hi there, @ChloeHensen.

    Are you still having trouble with this? I can see the Dead Space servers are currently up with people playing on them. What steps did you take when resetting?

    Thanks for the update. Let's see if updating your DNS settings will help. From the Xbox One screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". If that doesn't help, try using the google DNS servers which are: primary alt number 8.8.8.8 - secondary alt number 8.8.4.4. Let me know how it goes. Thanks!

    I tried both and unfortunately neither of them worked. ☹️ Still greeted with the same error message. Is there a possibility that EA will fix this? Because like I said, this is a problem many users are facing, not just myself.

    We're not aware of any problems. So far, I'm only seeing yourself and one other person that are experiencing this. We'll definitely keep an eye out for other reports. So, we'll need to keep troubleshooting this. Next, I'd like you to clear the alternate MAC address with these steps:

    Go to your Xbox One Settings (Just press Start, then click Settings)
    Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
    Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

    Thanks. Next, check the network settings screen on your Xbox and let me know what it says for the NAT type and IPv.
