Dead Space 3 (PC) Failed To Join Game Error

Hello, ImpIkdoomer.

EA had already shutting down the server for Dead Space 3 game several years ago. The only solution to play the game with your friends is to use LAN network, means that you and your friend have to use the same Internet connection to play co-op.

@impikdoomer You can still play co-op with friends but it may take some tweaking to do. It has been a while since it had an update and there really isn't much support, so it will just be finding that one way that got it to work.

If you can edit your modem/router See if you can change it to 2.4GHz. Steps would be based on that manufacturer's hardware specifications. The other factor will be that you may have to be on the same connection to party up. Let me know if that works!

Sorry for poking old threads, But In case you never found a solution that worked for this issue, i just found a secondary method.

One player hosts the game, then use the "find friends active games" function within the Dead Space coop menu. you will then be able

to join the game directly.

Make your game public and then have them join through quick play

1. create a network where both of you are inside!
2. start Dead Space 3
3. host starts a private game normally
4. your friend (or you, as the case may be) joins the game normally via "join friends" (you see him through Hamachi now again immediately)
5. have fun and coop game!

Addition:
I was able to exit Hamachi again after successfully connecting (was in my host's lobby) and everything ran normally through EA! Apparently you need Hamachi only to find each other!

These steps have worked for making it public first, etc for multiple titles across the board. It is being investigated in general too.

For those that need to hear it (like me), co-op doesn't start until chapter 4. We were receiving the same message until we attempted Chapter 4. Suddenly it worked.  That was June 16th 2024. Hope this helps a poor soul in need. 

I know this is late but no they didn't. The servers are still online for Dead Space 3 as of writing. You can play with friends online without needing a LAN network.
