Dead Space 3 Strict Nat Type in Co-Op Mode

Greetings. So... a couple of days ago I opened DS3 and, on coop mode, I got this pop up notification saying my NAT type is strict. Since then I haven't been able to play on coop mode. I already tried configuring my router, firewall... everything, and still no progress. I'm starting to think it's an in-game problem and not an external problem. Anyone got any ideas? Thank you in advance

Hi. Thanks for reaching out. A few days ago the pop-up disappeared on its own and I've been able to play on coop as usual. Like I said, it's an in-game issue, prob server related. The fact that I uninstalled my steam version and I'm now using the EA copy might have affected this issue, but I couldn't tell for sure. Again, and for those insisting on config routers, opening ports or disabling firewalls: it's most likely an EA server related issue. And, speaking of copies and platforms: the inability to use ration seals is also related to the copy you own. Basically, get rid of your steam copy and get the EA version.

I feel like a broken record saying this, but wanted to thank you for your post.

    What am I talking about?

Using more than one launcher (e.g. Purchase and launch on Steam - brings to EA - lauch that too - finally get to the game assuming this process of using two launchers for one hasn't introduced some thing weird.)

The problem you describe is new to me, but very valid. For well over two years I buy EA games ONLY on the EA app. Never via another launcher app, usually Steam.)

Since sticking to ONE app for ONE game, regardless of app, Epic, Steam ,EA, Gog, it removes a lot of un forseen bugs and complications.

Not a single crash on any, not even EPIC since sticking to the one launcher for one game policy.

    Cheers.
