Dead Space Remake - stuck at 14% - not downloading - Download Error

Hello,

I have noticed that issue has already appeared for other users and has not been solved. I have just bought Dead Space Remake on the new EA App, but it does not install - it is stuck at the preparing stage (14%) and hits a Download Error every single time.

I've installed other games using the EA App without any problems, and before I've run Origin. Already launching as an Administrator, already cleared the cache, reinstalled the app, manually deleted EA-related folders and cleared %appdata% as well, constantly running into the same error while trying to download Dead Space Remake. SFC did not find any filesystem issues.

I have seen posts regarding this issue as old as March 2023 and still no solution.

    Also have this issue, get stuck at 14% with a download error.

    @anishk123There seems to be a change today, it started downloading but got stuck at 299MB. Cleared the cache, restarted and it is now downloading, have not finished yet though.

    No change on my end for the last 8 hours, no EA App update either, so it really looks like a server-side issue.

    EDIT: The game has been installed, haven't launched yet to check for file integrity. It did download to 100% first, then restarted back to 0% and re-downloaded the entire 30+ gigabytes of data, which was odd in it's own way.
