I made sure DualSense was the only controller plugged and no other client running, it's detected in game but no feedback, tested with Xbox controller and no issues with that controller.

@heysoo5 Hey there! Haptic feedback is not supported on Windows for Dead Space I'm afraid.

Why not? The controller itself clearly is, and it's not like other (non-Sony) games do not have DualSense features implemented on PC.

I'm confused... the game clearly has PS4 and PS5 controller support option in the setup menu yet they don't support those functions? Not even the basic control vibrate?

Your answer is confusing, to say the least… because in las F1 games from EA, DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers work in PC.
If developers choose to not use that functionality that is available and working for Windows, then that’s a whole different story.

Some information on how I got haptics with DualSense working on my PC but this is the Steam version but apparently someone told me this is just Xbox vibration not haptics but it’s good enough for me and totally increased immersion
I have an Elite series 2 controller so in steam input I have Xbox and Xbox extended support as well as PlayStation support for my DualSense. I almost bought this game on ps5 for DualSense but since I have a 4090 pc would be much better.
With steam input disabled you get PlayStation button prompts no vibration nothing.
But I found if i just leave all my control configs enabled and steam input active I got Xbox button prompts but I was able to feel trigger haptics and vibration im not sure how but I’m playing it this way and tested this on a DualSense Edge a regular DualSense. Even the paddles work on the edge when mapped on the ps5 first.
I don’t know if anyone can confirm this works for them?
