The entire controller does not work, it may work on steam but I am using the ea desktop app.
- Philfycasual3 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Leeuw This is also being discussed in another post, but it's lacking any sort of vibration/haptic features. You'd expect the DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers to be a thing in the PC version considering the DualSense image appears in the control scheme (and the correct button prompts, etc), but you don't even get basic vibration functionality.

Some information on how I got haptics with DualSense working on my PC but this is the Steam version but apparently someone told me this is just Xbox vibration not haptics but it’s good enough for me and totally increased immersion
I have an Elite series 2 controller so in steam input I have Xbox and Xbox extended support as well as PlayStation support for my DualSense. I almost bought this game on ps5 for DualSense but since I have a 4090 pc would be much better.
With steam input disabled you get PlayStation button prompts no vibration nothing.
But I found if i just leave all my control configs enabled and steam input active I got Xbox button prompts but I was able to feel trigger haptics and vibration im not sure how but I’m playing it this way and tested this on a DualSense Edge a regular DualSense. Even the paddles work on the edge when mapped on the ps5 first.
I don’t know if anyone can confirm this works for them?
Dualsense does not work in anyway using the ea app version of dead space even though you can see the image of it in game.

@TheGamingArt Hey there, edited my post to clarify that it is not supported in Dead Space on Windows.
@Philfycasual So this is occurring for all Vibration full stop? Ok this sounds a bit off, let me look into it further on my side.
- Philfycasual3 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Rtas It's worth pointing out that there's not even any controller vibration, let alone the DS features, so I'm not confident you're correct here.
And as I've stated before, other games have that support (on PC), as others have stated above, other EA Games have that support (on PC), so this sounds like a bug, if anything. - MlecznyDuet3 years agoSeasoned VeteranDoesn't this depend on a game? It either supports it or not, Sony's games on PC do that but I wouldn't be so sure Dead Space is supposed to
Are the EA reps on here this ill informed. DualSense haptics are only supported for hardwired connections on Windows unless you have some 3rd party programs that try to adopt some of this functionality over bluetooth. Pure native support is opt-in via the developers by including the appropriate frameworks.
Your answer is confusing, to say the least… because in las F1 games from EA, DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers work in PC.
If developers choose to not use that functionality that is available and working for Windows, then that’s a whole different story.
