Game glitch skips menus - Can only start new games
Right now, it seems like the game only starts 50% of the time, and when it does, I get to the "Press Any Key to Continue" screen just fine. But when I tap a key, it shoots through the following series of menus as though someone is just jamming down the enter key, telling it to start a new game. It takes me to the "/select save slot" menu.
When I selected a slot and clicked the "start new game" button my first time through, it said the slot was invalid (or something like that) and that I could play without saving. When I clicked "play without saving" it brought me to what I think must be the main menu of the game. I started a new game, played up to the moon. Then I quit to the main menu, loaded the game, and it went back to the moon. BUT, when I quit the game to the desktop and started it back up, I was right back at the beginning, skipping menus, etc, and the saved game was gone.
Seems like a crazy glitch that will require some kind of patch. Any ideas?

Hi jacksigler!
Okay let's see if we can fix this issue.
At first, please get sure that you are using the latest version of your graphic card drivers. Disable all graphic enhancements in your graphic card control panel. This issue could related to your resolution but as far as I understand you are not able to access the graphic menu in game?
You should try to repair the installation of Dead Space III. Open your Origin (download and install the latest version of Origin at www.origin.com/download); go to "My Games" -> rightclick on DSIII and choose "Repair Install".
What kind of keyboard you are using? If it's a keyboard with any additional driver support (like a gaming keyboard), please reinstall all driver of your gaming device.
Please keep us updated!
