Game launches, but cannot click on menu
Hey all, running the EA Play Pro version of the game on PC, and the game will launch, but the main menu is A) laggy, takes several seconds to register my mouse has hovered over a new option and B) does not allow me to click to start the game, go to settings, exit, etc.
I have restarted everything, redownloaded on several different drives from HDD to SSD (Which actually made the problem worse, menu never even appeared) to NVME, redownloaded the app, tried running as admin, you name it.
Anyone else experiencing this? Working with support now but it's not looking good.
All nvidia drivers are current, etc.
@TheYowie can we try the following steps and check if this continues?
- Make sure the game is installed on an internal SSD (versus HDD or external SSD connected via USB)
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair)
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Put your device in a Clean Boot then launch the game
