Keyboard Settings Not Recognized After Install

Recently downloaded, uninstalled and reinstalled, and I'm having many different issues.

I am unable to preform the foot stomp action or sprint action.  I have tried binding this action to different keys on my keyboard and have been unable to preform either of these actions in game.  Whenever I resume the game from a pause or close the menu, or interact with something by pressing "E", I shoot 1 shot.  I am sure that the trigger binding is tied to my left mouse button and not any other keys.  I have tried plugging in a wired Sony ps4 controller that I use for other games, but this game does not recognize the new input source.

I havent had any issues like this with any other games, not sure how to resolve.  Appreciate any help
