@ThirdWelles Only frame drop I'm still seeing is the occasional hitch at the end of a cutscene, or when transitioning between zones. Minute-to-minute gameplay is back to normal.

@ThirdWelles I don't think it's the issue as i don't use WE at all. As people said, it happens when CPU and GPU load drops drastically for no reason and the game fps drops to like 7 frames. And i have to relaunch the game.

I decided to see what was going on on my set up. Went back through a save at a particularly bad point in Chapter 2 saw the following:
When normal and locked at 70FPS through Nvidia Control Panel:
GPU Load 85-100%
Power: 335W
CPU Load: 100%
CPU Power 84W
When cutscene/audio log tanks FPS to 7 (with immeadiate effect):
GPU Load 100%
Power: 110W (Close to Desktop Idle)
CPU Load: 54%
CPU Power 71W
- 3 years ago@wedge909 pretty much the same thing on my end, you should check Vram load instead of GPU core load, it gets lower and makes the performance drop

Interesting that 90% of the people on this post are 30 series cards and the majority on Steam fourms with this are 30 series? The one guy doing good is a 20 series.
