Since launch and it hasn't changed, framerate is all over the place but especially when picking up an item that will trigger a cutscene and the GPU draws less power, memory usage varies but not GPU load
The only fix I found is to load a save file or restart the game to get back to normal framerate, GPU power, ect...
- 3 years ago@xCisli I think that my issue got (pretty much) fixed with the latest hotfix, the game still has traversal stutters BUT now with trigger cutscenes and item pickups, the game still makes my gpu framedrop but only for 1-2 secs and the game comes back to normal just like it should.
I need to play some more to test it but I think that it is playable on my end, thank you !- younever_know83 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
As of the latest patch there is still a massive memory leak or equivalent that causes the game to drop to <10 fps after roughly 20 minutes of play. Renders the game unplayable.
I can note that intermittently performance recovers if you try and play it through it but the framerate only returns to normal for a minute or two before it again plummets to <10fps.
These frame rate dips feel very similar to the intermittent stutter that occurs when entering new areas or streaming in new assets. The issue could possibly be linked.
This is a huge problem right now, awaiting a patch.
My Specs:
3700x
3080
32GB RAM
1 TB NVME SSD
