@heysoo5 Hey there! Haptic feedback is not supported on Windows for Dead Space I'm afraid.

Why not? The controller itself clearly is, and it's not like other (non-Sony) games do not have DualSense features implemented on PC.
I'm confused... the game clearly has PS4 and PS5 controller support option in the setup menu yet they don't support those functions? Not even the basic control vibrate?
Your answer is confusing, to say the least… because in las F1 games from EA, DualSense haptics and adaptive triggers work in PC.
If developers choose to not use that functionality that is available and working for Windows, then that’s a whole different story.
Are the EA reps on here this ill informed. DualSense haptics are only supported for hardwired connections on Windows unless you have some 3rd party programs that try to adopt some of this functionality over bluetooth. Pure native support is opt-in via the developers by including the appropriate frameworks.
- MlecznyDuet3 years agoSeasoned VeteranDoesn't this depend on a game? It either supports it or not, Sony's games on PC do that but I wouldn't be so sure Dead Space is supposed to
 - Philfycasual3 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Rtas It's worth pointing out that there's not even any controller vibration, let alone the DS features, so I'm not confident you're correct here.
And as I've stated before, other games have that support (on PC), as others have stated above, other EA Games have that support (on PC), so this sounds like a bug, if anything. - EA_Rtas3 years ago

@TheGamingArt Hey there, edited my post to clarify that it is not supported in Dead Space on Windows.
@Philfycasual So this is occurring for all Vibration full stop? Ok this sounds a bit off, let me look into it further on my side.
Some information on how I got haptics with DualSense working on my PC but this is the Steam version but apparently someone told me this is just Xbox vibration not haptics but it’s good enough for me and totally increased immersion
I have an Elite series 2 controller so in steam input I have Xbox and Xbox extended support as well as PlayStation support for my DualSense. I almost bought this game on ps5 for DualSense but since I have a 4090 pc would be much better.
With steam input disabled you get PlayStation button prompts no vibration nothing.
But I found if i just leave all my control configs enabled and steam input active I got Xbox button prompts but I was able to feel trigger haptics and vibration im not sure how but I’m playing it this way and tested this on a DualSense Edge a regular DualSense. Even the paddles work on the edge when mapped on the ps5 first.
I don’t know if anyone can confirm this works for them?

Why not though? There are third party games like star wars squadron from this studio that support it? What was the reason you can't expect to just say they are not supported like that is a real answer.

They simply don't care
 - Philfycasual3 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Rtas Any update on this..?
This has to be a bug as xbox controller has full vibration but the ps5 controller does not. This needs to be addressed by devs and fixed asap!

All I want is full support for the DualSense but I know that modders will deliver it anyway, not thanks to you EA...
 - Philfycasual3 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Rtas Is there any update on this?
 - Chris346logo3 years agoRising Novice
They simply do not care this company is cowardly and lazy as usual @EA_Rtas won’t say anything because they will have to admit support not only isn’t coming but was intentionally removed. Sad to see but whatever this game not worth money if the people can’t even give proper customer support.
 - Philfycasual3 years agoSeasoned Traveler@EA_Rtas Any update on this issue??
EA and devs os DS please give us PC users support for dual sense as it is doable, works in games where devs decided to implement it and as PS5 version works there are no blockers to unblock it on PC version.
