Alistair?

I was told there would be a scene with Alistair in it and I just finished the game and NO Alistair scenes.

I am assuming I should have sided with the mages? Does anyone know before I start a second play through?

I was looking forward to seeing him. I wanted to see Oghren too, but I know he's not gonna show up. I so loved Origins. =)

He definitely makes an appearance if you side with the Mages. He shows up at Redcliffe near the end of the story mission there.
