I've tried changing settings on my Nvidia control panel, updating .net, updating C++, updating drivers - nothing has worked. ☹️ The game launches briefly (black screen) then I get a dxdiag "out of memory" error. My system is old but it does meet the minimum requirements.

His dxdiag says 4 cpus. Mine says 8... Maybe the dual core issue has the same symptom. However they outright say dual core is not supported, ours should technically be working.

Has ANY AMD Radeon user found a fix for this? Cataylst has an option to override the AA just like all other high end GPUs, but in this case it doesn't work. Likewise, it is not a DirectX or .NET problem.

I did notice your video card driver (according to your dxdiag) is dated 2010. Might want to check again and try updating it if one is available.

Same problem here. Just a black box and then it crashes.
I have a dual-core, but it should be able to at least open the game..
And if people on Xbox 1, PS4, and those with quad-core have the same problems,
EA shouldn't be trying to dismiss this just because some of the people reporting it
had no idea they wouldn't be able to play it on their dual-core pcs and bought it.
And it's nice that those that bought it through origin get a refund, but I bought a physical copy.. =/

I don't think EA is dismissing this, but we have a problem here because all the people with dual-cores who simply cannot play the game due to hardware limitations are muddling the issue with people who should be able to play the game but are encountering severe crash problems.

I agree. I got one PC it works on and one it doesn't and they both exceed requirements and are actually very similar systems (both Dell xps 8700 or whatever). Unfortunately, I cant just leave it on the one pc that it works on. I need it to work on MY pc. It would be nice to hear something about a patch or at least that they acknowledge the issue and are working on it...something.

Solution:
Hi everyone, I was getting the same issue: I would launch DAI and immediatly would get the spinning cursor and then nothing. I went to Task Manager and started ending tasks which looked like might interfere with DAI. In my case I had installed a task bar customization app called BINS: http://www.1upindustries.com/bins/. Once I quit that application DAI launched without a hitch. This worked for me hope it helps, cheers.
