I'm trying to load my save file and all I get it a black screen on PC

I recently got Dragon Age: Inquisition on Origin for free through Twitch Prime. I played part of the tutorial, saved, left, and then came back and my game loaded just fine. But now, after spending a few hours playing and getting to the Hinterlands, I saved and when I tried to come back the next day, my save data won't load. Instead, it'll pop up a black screen with the green loading icon in the bottom-right corner not pulsing or anything and my data never loads. I can still move the mouse, however, but the save data won't load. Why is it doing this? Help me fix this please as I am thoroughly enjoying this game.

@KevinMDavis911 To check if you start a new gameplay for a bit then save and quit can you reload that save on a new launch? If so we may have a corrupted save. Do you use mods at all?

I have cleared my cache, restarted my PC, and fixed the game through Origin and it is still doing it.

@KevinMDavis911 Do you have any overlays running or security that may be interfering with the game running?

If not can you check for Windows, GPU and other driver updates?

I have zero overlays running, except the one that comes with Origin, if that counts. Also, Windows and all drivers are up-to-date. And I don't think there is any security issues as I have allowed Inquisition through the firewall. The only security I have is the security that comes with Windows 10.

Hi @KevinMDavis911 We can try disabling Origin in-game overlay to see if anything continues, if nothing changes can you put your PC in a Clean Boot to see if the game launches normally?

If you continue running into issues, would it be possible to get a DxDiag?

Hi @KevinMDavis911 Thanks for this, to check are you able to make it to the main menu fine before loading a save? if so can you try to change the resolution of the game to first match the resolution of your monitor and if this fails to turn down to a windowed mode and try loading the game?

If issues continue can you try loading the game with different Compatibility settings?

To answer your question: yes, I can get to the main menu just fine. In fact, the game does run 100% fine and I can even start a new game if I want, it is just loading my save data that is not working. I checked and my resolution was already matched to my monitor. I tried both windowed modes and all the different compatibility options and nothing worked. I'm beginning to think I'll never get to play this game again without just starting a new game and keeping it running 24/7.

Okay. I will try to start a new game and then save, leave, and load the save. And no, I do not use any mods. I'm a purist and enjoy games the way they were meant to be played. Also, I once loaded a save back when I was trying it out and was still in the game's tutorial section. It seems to hate my newer save with nearly 20 hours in it.
UPDATE: I started a new game. Played little over an hour. Long enough to close the big rift and wake up three days later. I saved the game, returned to the main menu, completely closed the game out, restarted the game, and selected load. It loaded the save just fine.
