Can confirm that this worked on my first try! I disabled 1 core and no freezing!

Again, i am glad that it worked for you. I hope that as many as possible people will find this solution. I was VERY devasted when i wanted to play yesterday till i finaly figured it out after several hours

Funny, that it happened to me constantly at launch.

Especially, when I clicked too fast on "click to contiune". Waiting a bit before that, actually helped.

Later It somehow stopped, but can happen when I go to Audio options.

Maybe because I changed language from PL to EN.

Anyways, can play normally now. Still not sure what the hell is/was wrong though.

When I try to set affinity it said access denied. Any ideas why?

I had this problem, so i updated my video card and changed from directx to AMD Mantle and it solved my case.

Never mind I figure it out. Just in case anyone has trouble click show process from all users in task manger first.
