Missing DLC conversation dialogs

Hi, I have the Dragon Age: Origin Ultimate Edition (Origin version). I have owned it for almost two years, and I've downloaded and played it several times til now without a problem. But last week, when I downloaded it again, all the DLCs has lost all the conversation dialog sounds and facial animations. I had a long conversation with the EA Costumer Experience, but none of their suggestions worked, and after several faild attempts (redownload, remove the game plus the Origin, repair in Origin, try the game on different PC), yesterday they removed the game from my Origin account, and give a new one, and I was told to download the DLCs from the Bioware Social Network. When they removed the game, all my registered game contents dissapeard frim the website. I registrated my new serialcode from the Origin game library, but the missing contents from the Bioware Social Network faild to reappear. The Costumer Experiance was really kind and helpful, and finally they suggested me to write here to find help.

    Hi @ericwalla,

I see the new codes for the DLC and promo content on your account so it should be good. When you go to your Origin library, and click on the grey "i" icon (details), does it show a download/install button for every add-ons and bonus? You might have to uninstall and reinstall everything through Origin directly for it to appear in-game.

  • Thanks for the quick reply, but I have already done this (removal + downloading) 3 times since I got the new code, but the problem DLCs dialoges are still missing. In my Origin game library there are all the DLCs (downloaded and installed succesfully every time). The Customer Experience told me to download manually the DLCs from the Bioware Social Network, that will fix the problem. But after I have got the new code all the Dragon Age Origins contents have disappeared from "Your registrated game contents" page, so I am not able to download them.

Have you tried to registered this new code on the BSN? If not, that might be why it's not showing up in your Registered game content. Try redeeming the key that appears in your Origin library on the Redeem Promo code page.

  • I did it yesterday, just after I saw the missing contents. I did it in the BSN Register Game page, just I did it to my other games. In the BSN site I see the Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition in "My games" and I see my Dragon Age Origins Player profile, but the list of my registered game contents is missing. Today I added in Origin the Dragon Age 2 Ser Isaac's Armor and it appeared right away in BSN registered game contents, so I think the site is in sync with my Origin and BSN profile.

Can you join a screenshot of the "Your registered game content" page that you see and I'll try to find more information. Thanks!
