Since 5/5(before I downloaded Black Emporium) I've been having a problem with some characters freezing in tactical camera during battle. It was a single character until today when I had two freeze in a battle. They always unfreeze at the end of the battle(if I survive). I can select them but I can't control them. I've been playing pretty much every day since the game came out and this is the first time I've had a significant problem.
Just got this problem today myself.
However unlike most here I'm getting the freezing without being in tactical view.
Mainly applies to Cassandra.
Really annoying.
Not the best thing to happen during a hard battle.
I will never unterstand how such things are comming through testing.
no luck ...patch 11 did not fix it .
I get the same problem too on the PC version, playing with a controller. It usually affects only 1 character during a battle, but it seems to happen with almost any battle where I go into tactical mode which is really frustrating. Hopefully Bioware are aware of the problem and are investigating a fix, though if this issue has seemingly been around since patch# 7, I won't hold my breath for too long.....!
Here too mostly it's my tank Blackwall, that makes it so annoying every 2 of 4 fights he freezes and little rouge me gets full aggro....pretty much spoils the fun.
Rest might be a bit of this precise topic, but why not... whole party sticking to walls cause a mob is behind it and the can see it through a tiny rift while u go around it and get beat up, not right working skills my leaping shot just shoots and...don't...nja ..leaps xD often since a few days, enemy camps vanishing along with their mobs in combat like "jey it's nearly dead and poooff...gone" chars legs getting pinned to the ground while rest moves on a few steps.
Warning rest might get a bit into complaining and emotional, sozial, point of life blabla read on own risk^^
There where from the very start of the game bugs and noone expects a game to start without them this is just like it is u can test everything and still something won't work right, but some of these issues i named where there right from the game's start and instead of fixing them they focused on throwing in new dlcs, of cause i'm grateful for more story i loved the DA universe since i played my 1. minutes DAO, but cause of this i 'm even more sad about companys more caring for the money they earn with the games the host than for the game itself i get it u can't work on a game till it's all shiny without money but thats a general problem today ppl barely do things cause they like to do them, they do them for money.
Maybe not at the start but later all comes down to money for me it's just sad games movies series books music all things that tell a story should have their focus on this story not on the money ppl pay to hear this story it makes publishers wear the story down, stretch it, alter it to get (sorry to say so) the simpler ppl to like it or even drop out in the middle of it cause there was not enough profit.
Sooo if u read till here i congratulate u thank u ....and i guess pitty u a bit cause all this stuff is now somewhere in ur brain slowly frying it till u start writing it in totally unrelated posts too ^^
BUMP! Comon EA, just watched my wife playing this on her PS4 no problems so I decided to purchase all the DLC for this game. Now it is unplayable because of this. Until this is fixed I"m going to have to request my money back from origins account because this game is unplayable and I can better use my money on something that works.
So, since no fix for this topic I just requested a refund of ONLY the jaws of hakon dlc. They were able to handle the refund request through live chat with just the info from my purchase order. I expected some kind of flak or runaround but nope just a quick friendly chat and refund. They sure have stepped up their customer service handling since last year.
it's patch 11 now, still not fixed. disappointed
