Using Direct X 10 with Dragon Age: Inquisition

Question

In my settings it says I'm locked at Direct3D 11. &nbsp;I would like to use 10 to improve performance and the system requirements say DirectX 10 is supported. &nbsp;How can I use DirectX 10 with DA:I? &nbsp;Also, I'm on a NVIDIA card so I can't use Mantle API. &nbsp;

If your version of Winders started out with Dx11, you can include Dx10 in your system's available options simply by visiting Microsoft's Download Center and getting a copy of Dx10 to install.&nbsp; It doesn't do anything to the Dx11 you already have.&nbsp;

It doesn't install dxx10 if you have dx11. Gives the message 'A newer version of directx present'

That is only when you do not use the full version install.&nbsp; All of them are inter-version compatible with one another.&nbsp;
