Windows 8.1 x64AMD HD 6950XBox 360 wired controller.I use a bluetooth keyboard and regular wireless mouse by logitech. I don't have any other usb devices or controllers. When I switch to controller, I noticed (after much confusion) that only certain buttons worked. Apparently the button mapping is fubar. The "start" button on the controller, for example, is mapped to "B". The "RB" button is mapped to "A". The left stick is actually mapped to the right stick and controls the camera, but the left stick click button works properly (it took me to the keep website). I confirmed this because I managed to start a saved game after realizing that the game is detecting the controller, but just mapping it all weird. Most buttons don't do anything. I have tried reinstalling the game, the drivers, re-calibrating, and I tested it with two separate controllers which both exhibit the same result. It works fine in other games, I've been using it my PC games for a long time now.

Nope, sorry. I tried clean booting, I tried disabling my usb devices one by one, but I can't find the cause. All my other games work perfectly with the controller, so this is definitely still something DAI is doing incorrectly, somehow.

I had this problem when using x360ce with ps3 controller.It stopped happening after I used a different method(SCP Wrapper with original xbox360 controller driver).So if you are using x360ce(it does not work anyway), stop using it.

No, I have my Xbox 360 controller directly connected to USB, no other software. A long time ago I briefly had Pinnacle Profiler installed, but I no longer use it.

I'm not sure, tbh. I've been playing on my personal PC with a 360 pad and I haven't encountered anything like what you've described. Have you used any other pad/emulation software in the past that might be interfering? If you restart your machine with a Clean Boot do you see the same behaviour?

I actually thought my controller wasn't being detected, but it turns out I'm having the same problem as you.
Any chance you've found a workaround?

I addressed it by reinstalling windows 8, haha. It was time for a refresh anyway. I still don't know why only DAI wouldn't properly map the controller, but I was tired of waiting. Super frustrating.

EA your silence on this issue is concerning. This is a common problem and I suspect will leave you open to legal action as the DVD packaging clearly states "Microsoft X360 controller supported". This is false advertising, if this is not resolved you may be at the losing end of a class action. I have literally spent hours trying to get this to work. I suspect that you will have many more complaints after Christmas day when people unwrap their game then endure the rediculously lengthy install process only to discover that they are unable to do what the product clearly states you should be able to do. After two patches I should have thought this issue would have had been resolved. I refuse to try another workaround. Product test more thoroughly in future and please dont ever buy an airline manufacturer. I'd hate to see the results of releasing untested airplanes on consumers. I hope you take my point.
