Girl, at this point, all of us agree that we can settle for those 2-3 deflated romance scenes the Lucanis pack comes with, it's not just about getting the content we paid for, it's -to quote Vivienne- about restoring sanity to the world.
(That said, imagine if BioWare had come up with a love triangle for the Lucanis and Neve situation, maybe even for Taash and Harding. Though, they'd have to start by remembering they used to be quality RPG developers once.)
That would have been amazing, but they couldn’t even give Rook their own commitment scene with Lucanis. It’s just a tweaked Neve scene and it honestly makes me want to eat my controller in frustration.
“No time for romance with you” is going on my tombstone at this point. My brain is going to overheat and explode trying to figure out what happened while we sit here with no answers.

What happened is the developers were so busy writing romance and conversation content between the companions they forgot Rook even existed.
I'm convinced they resent Rook's presence in the game as the protagonist. I can feel the disdain bleeding through in all the interactions.
What they meant by the "most romantic dragon age ever" was "your companions are gonna have such a great time without you!"
