Yes, I've seen the artbook and frankly I was highly disappointed that they weren't added into the game, like so many other ideas from Joplin and Morisson.
Regarding the Divine, I do agree that it made no sense for Harding not to have spoken with her much since she was her agent! I also believe that the game should've been about the Inquisition again, not Rook. And yes an agent from Orlais would make sense or even a Tevinter one since the Inquisition recruited people from almost every nation of Thedas.
I agree with you regarding Sandal and Bethany and Tallis as well.
Yes, I do hope that we know what happened to them in the future because this game left us with more questions than answers honestly. I actually liked the Dawn of the Seeker, it made me understand Cassandra more. I didn't like Absolution because personally, the characters were insufferable (except Fairbanks). But them appearing in this game would've also made sense since they went to Tevinter. I'm still upset that Fairbanks died in that series however. He deserved better than be killed.
I think Archon Radonis should've made an appearance because he was an intriguing character. His death really disappointed me. He was politically shrewd and had a soft spot for cats lol. Him dying so quickly made no sense! And killed by the imbecilic Venatori no less. What even bothered me most is that in Dock Town, some people think that he cares more about his cats than his country when in the comic he’s patriotic.
Let's hope for the best.
Thank you for answering.
Cheers
Thank you for responding as well! I love and hate reading through game art books. There are always so many ideas left on the table that can't be implemented for one reason or another. I am actually glad there weren't too too many "what could have been" items.
We don't talk about Absolution... Haha I just pretend that never happened. I made the mistake of binging it after finishing the first season of Arcane. Gosh, I don't even remember who Fairbanks was. I will have to look him up.
The Archon being defeated by random Venatori agents and traitors was wild indeed. Though now that I think about it, if Dorian and Mae will be candidates to replace him, you might not necessarily have to be the strongest mage in the land to earn the title... We can always hope the rumors about The Viper are true. haha
