Can’t get past character creation

Question

So I can’t get past character creation. The game crashes at some point during CC. Sometimes it barely loads and other times I can get a few minutes into my CC before it crashes.

this is on steam.

I tried updating drivers and such.
Run as administrator.
Deleted shaders file.
Uninstalling and reinstalling.
Verifying game files.
Changing fullscreen optimization.
Changing compatibility for windows 8.

My PC is brand new and runs everything else fine. None of these worked. Will a patch come out for this? Are there any other possible fixes anyone has? Any help would be appreciated.

Same for me. I have about 20 minutes, than it crushes.And yes my drivers is up-to-date, FGS.

Ok, deleting shader cache folder in the installation directory at least allowed me to start the game, it crashed immediately after the first dialogue.

That's what helped me in the end, though I cannot say what settings are necessary.

I've changed my monitor's refresh rate from 240 to 60 IN GAME. I also changed the screen to full-screen mode. Lastly, I've turned Vsync on.

No crashes so far.
