DirectX Error

I get RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64 in my dxdiag, too. After some googling, it appears to be purely informational message, so I have no idea how this is related to the game crashing 

Same issue for me DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. This is so frustrating. I have been a long time console player and always argued with my friend how I didnt wanna deal with this kind of nonsense and the less frames and slightly lowered textures were worth not ever having issues playing on console. I FINALLY caved bought a PC from a person I thought was a friend who ended up burning me. Anway here we are 1 am and im trying to play a new game but I have to be on forums trying to figure out how to play longer than 10 minutes. This is terrible. 

Please if you end up finding out the fix let me know.

Got through cc without a problem. Gameplay is fine. Cinematics make it crash everytime. Then I reload and it plays the cinematic it crashed on before, but crashes on the next new one. Would love a fix Sophie_b23

Getting the same error in cutscenes. Newest gpu driver is installed.

Arani101  Your GPU *just* meets the minimum requirements, which I suspect might be a bit generous (seeing people have issues even with the recommended GPU), your CPU is also cutting it close. You're likely to encounter issues constantly with a game like this, unfortunately, and you'll need to have everything turned off or to the lowest setting. 
In short, it's going to be hard to figure out if there's another issue, because your PC is going to have a lot of trouble trying to run this game. Be sure to keep an eye on your temps. Try a clean install of your GPU drivers. 

I want to report that I have the same issue. 

The Radeon VII is a bit more obscure but should have no issues running this game. 

I have the same issue, the same "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED" - tried clean reinstall drivers, tried system file checker, tried running

as admin, no full screen optimisation, deleting shaders folder, repairing game files on stem, etc.

Nothing helps, after about an hour of gameplay it crashes with this error. 

Got ryzen 7800 x3D + rtx 4090, custom loop watercooling, the system definitely isnt overheting or anything. 

SOLUTION THAT HELPED ME.

So I had the exact same issue everyone is reporting here, spent most of the day doing everything reinstalling, re-install drivers, reinstall DX, nothing worked, until I did a deeper dive into event viewer and searching the specific issue causing the crashes, in my case this is what was the issue:

Windows Paging size was to little,

Do the following and let me know if it helps you:

1. Search on your PC for "View advanced system settings".
2. Go to Performance -> Settings.
3. Go to Advanced.
4. You will see Virtual Memory.
5. Click change, then select "Custom Size" on your C drive, make sure you select your C drive (Your hard drive with OS installed)
6. Add a value 1.5 times more than your systems memory, in my case I have 16GB of RAM, so I put 24000 in the Initial size and on the maximum size you can just put 100mb more, so for me, this value is 24100. 
7. Reboot your device.

(Keep in mind the higher the paging size, the more storage is occupied from your C-drive)

To be clear:

Initial size - 24000

Maximum size - 24100.

Hope this helps at least some of you, I been able to play without interruptions, and before I struggled to even pass the character creation.
