Game crash at Blight in D’meta’s Crossing

Wondering if anyone else has had their game go black in D’Meta’s Crossing when you destroy the blight bubble and go through the cracked opening when you find the town? Is it supposed to go to a cutscene? I’ve restarted about a dozen times and done all updates and what not, and no matter what, I get halfway through the crevice and the screen goes black. The audio still plays however, which is creepy since it’s the bubbling blight sound.
