Game Save Progress Missing

I just lost over 10 hours. PS5. My last save is from 3 days ago. What in the .......?

Has this been fixed yet? 

My wife and are are both having the issue.  If we quit to the main menu the option to load a game is there if we quit the game entirely at any time all the saves seem to disappear.  The game menu only gives the option to start a new game.  We both play through Steam on separate PCs she is on a laptop and I'm on a custom desktop.  I've forced the files under documents to remain local from the cloud.

I've searched around and not found a solution.

I'm having the exact same problem, and it honestly is making me not want to even attempt to play the game further. I've tried all the solutions on this thread, and nothing has resolved this issue for me 🙃

This just happened to me today March 2025 at least two hours lost.  I tried to save and the game locked up.   Restarted the game and there are no autosaves after my previous hard save.   This is just poor coding and that hard to fix.   Your game definitedly autosaved during that time so why in the world would you delete them on restart????  

PS5 March 2025 same issue.   Game locked up when trying to do a manual save.   Upon restart it reverted back to my previous save hours earlier.   So the game apparently deleted all the auto-saves and there were many since my last manual save.  

Just logging in to say this just happened to me too, PS5 April 2025. Level 41, just lost 10+ hours of play. I manually save before every boss and before I log off. 

I have never seen anything like this in my decades of gaming. It's staggering to me that such a serious cross-platform issue has not only not been resolved, but has seemingly barely been acknowledged by EA. 

Anyway I'm done with the game (why continue when this could happen again?), and giving it a 1-star review until this is resolved.

Same with me, it also happened yesterday (April 17th, 2025). I have tried several possible fixes (restore license , reinstall the game, restore ps5 data, contact EA and Sony)

NOTHING solved.

Lost 30h of gameplay .

Yep

same issue ps5 just lost 9 hrs of solid game play . Instantly deleted it . Won’t be wasting my [removed] time on game that can’t even save it properly . Shame as I was enjoying the story . 
devs should be ashamed .
