so i realized the only time these loading errors occur is when i am trying to load into the Arlathan Forest, this is the only place(to my Knowledge) that causes the loading error. So dont save in the Arlathan Forest, make sure to avoid that until EA Fixes the issue.

Unfortunately, is not just that area for me. Treviso, Tevinter, The Fade, Anderfels, Arlathan, all has had this issue for me.

Same here. I just requested a refund. Playing on a PC that is absolutely up to date still keeps getting this error. Fortunately, there are many good alternatives in this genre.

Sadly, the only thing that worked for me was to put the game in a SSD (that I did't had at the moment). For what I suffered from this error, it really doesn't matter where you are or any of kind of condition (in/out the game). The only way I could play it before the SSD was creating a new game and than switching to the old (and hope to load).

I have the same issue each time i open the game. I found a solution that works for me and that is loading up the temporary decision save first, then skipping all the cutscenes and waiting for the game to load for that save and finally clicking esc and loading the most recent manual save i made. I hope this works for you guys.

I've only had the game since Sat. (11/9) and am also having this error. My girlfriend bought it for me because DA is one of my absolute favorites, and we're so upset.
Previously, I was able to kind of brute force it (keep trying to load in until it worked), then that stopped working. Then, restarting my laptop every time before I opened the game worked, but that also stopped working. I was only able to play for a bit on one day (11/10) before I became completely unable to play since I can't load in on any save file that isn't immediately post-prologue. And I really don't want to replay up to the point I was, especially only to get the error again. I had just gotten to D. Meta's Crossing (literally just got off the boat), but I'm not sure location is pertinent, upon reading other posts and replies.
1) Game files are installed on my SSD (D: drive, though; C: drive is HDD), but I still got the HDD warning when I first installed. (My gf did, too, on a PC that is also C: HDD and D: SSD, but she has notably not had this load error at all)
2) Graphics drivers are updated
3) Graphics are set to Low
4) No other programs running
5) Loading into recent prior saves does not help -- they provoke a Load Error as well
6) Loading into earlier saves and then into more recent saves still provokes the error
7) Creating a new character and then attempting to load in from the start of that prologue still provokes the error
8) As mentioned, restarting my laptop no longer fixes the issue
Edit to add: I have installed the update that dropped today (11/13) and am still experiencing this error. - Lanctus2New Traveler
Okay, I have made some headway on this issue. I bought a new 1 TB SSD (internal), installed and formatted it, reinstalled DA on the SSD, and I was able to load up some of the previous saves I could not before. Prior to that, I was running (or trying to) everything off an external SSD. Both SSDs have plenty of storage, and the only difference is one being internal (installed into the Motherboard), and the other external (USB-slotted). That's it. If you're having trouble on an external (and EA REALLY should specify this), that could be the crux of the issue. So far so good.
