Necropolis Cascades chest locked by a wisp issue

Mine is bugged too. Can’t figure out a fix for it either 😤

I wanted to check if you were still stuck here. You may want to perform other quests and return to this area if the wisp is not spawning for you. I believe it first spawns over the coffeen to the left of the center one.

I'm on the quest called "When Plans Align" with no other companion quests and sidequests left, all companions are on Hero of Veilguard, and I've recently tried the braziers again starting from the coffin on the left of the center one (All braziers are lit up after following the wisp), but resolving the puzzle just opened the coffin again without any wisp spawning for the chest.

Unless I've totally missed out on something as a prerequisite, I'm pretty convinced it's a bug and I hope it gets fixed.

My husband is having the same issue. He's lvl 48, has done the puzzle at least 12 times, and he still can't get the wisp to appear.

The wisp shows up for me.  After you complete the sequence, you have to use ur companion power on the glowy thing to make the wisp appear
