[PS5] Crashing during cutscenes

Can you upload your saves to the PS cloud and turn the cloud off but only have a couple of saves in your game? It kind of sounds like the problem is related to the save, the number of saves, or corrupted data. I've done two playthroughs on the PS, and I can't get that cutscene to skip in any way. 

Also, I am curious if you are on Wi-Fi and can swap to an HDMI or a different Wi-Fi. Got to rule everything out.

Hi, thank you for getting back with some things to test. I’ve tried all you suggested, new save file and reload,  swapping HDMI, altering to Fidelity and graphic settings, and same result, it freezes after a few seconds into a cutscene.

On your 50 hour can you try these for me?

Save as a new save file,
Close the game
manually load into the new save and test
Manually load into the autosave (if you have one) and test

being on PS5 is harder; there are a few things in the settings you can change, and I saw one mention of swapping your HDMI, which was weird but worked.

Hi, yes, the cutscenes are freezing in both my 50 hour playthrough (human) and during the first cutscene of any new playthrough that I’ve tried (tried an Elf and Qunari). 

This does this in the very first cut-scene of the game after creating a character?

Did you create different characters or the same choice? Does it happen when you create an Elf and a Dwarf for example?
