PS5 Still Hard Crashing After Patch

Playing ps5 on today's patch which I had hoped might stop the console hard crashing but no, I've gone from the console switching itself off roughly every 20-30 minutes to every 5-10 minutes. I have to power cycle to get the console to turn on and it has to repair itself every time. It's so much worse now. I've seen so many posts about this exact issue across both PS5 and XBox.

I'm gutted, DAI was the only game I ever platinum'd on playstation and now I can't even play this one when I've been waiting so long. :(

    Same here, before it was always crashing for me during Shadows of Minrathous. Today I was able to finish the quest (with multiple crashes in between and lots of visual glitches), but now I can't even load up my save anymore without it crashing. Tried starting a new character, can't make it through the first cut scene. I had high hopes for the patch, but it seems to have made it even worse for me.

    Same, this is very disappointing. What is worse is there was no indication of this happening across all reviews I've watched and read, and there's radio silence and no acknowledgement from Bioware on this issue. Will be requesting for a refund.

      I dont think this will get fixed, they'll run you through their possible fixes(none thatll work) then tell you it must be your console(which only happens with their games). Im not one to go around calling game companies garbage but eas really taking the cake

      Oh and if you played it, they'll most likely decline your refund like they did mine

    Same issues. Thought patch would fix but no luck. Wanted to play badly but looks like I wasted my money.

    I have been having issues since launch and have gone so far as to reset my PS5 two times and downloaded fresh installs 8 times, rebuilt the database, cleared the cache and restored the license countless times. When I spoke to EA they just said that the team is aware of it and will be working on a fix. So it's now a day post patch and no word from EA. I think it may have to do with connecting your EA account, which I foolishly did at launch. It kept giving me issues and I couldn't unlink it until it finally gave me the option on the crash to disable it. Regardless it is totally unplayable now and it corrupted my 45 hour save file that I spent 12 to 15 hours to get it to run. Just total BS.

    My whole system turns off completely then I have to wait like 5 mins stop playing really wanted to play it
