Ultimate Skill keeps resetting

Hi all!

Been having a blast with Veilguard. One issue has kept popping up for me and I'm not seeing much discussion of it so I thought I'd post here just in case.

I keep discovering that my Ultimate Skill has been reset to the default one. I'm playing a Champion Warrior, so I'd like to be using Warden's Fire, and every few combats I find that I somehow have Flashing Fists equipped again. I'm generally only noticing this when I go to actually use my ultimate and then notice it's the wrong one, so I'm not sure precisely how often it's happening, but it's happened two or three times at least in the past couple of hours of gameplay.

I'm on PC and have the latest update.

    I couldn't reply to my own comment for some reason but to add to this:

    Updating the skill tree resets my ult about 3 out of 5 times. Along with that, I noticed that collecting ultimate potions when the meter is drained to under 50 percent is also switching my ult. It's annoying but workable. I just have to check Rook's items & spells before I start any major fight or when I reload.

    Just happened to me for the first time (Mage, just popped my Ult and only then realized it was the default Destructive Light instead of my previously selected Thunderous End). I've been playing plenty since the patch, and this is the first time it happened (during quest "The Siege of [Location]").

    Crossposting this to multiple threads, since this is being discussed a few different places.

      Confirming that for me it's pretty conclusively tied to resetting one or more skill points. The first time it happened was after respeccing a couple of companions. The second time was when, while spending new skill points on a companion, I accidentally clicked a node twice, thus spending and then removing a point in a skill (then deliberately clicking one more time to spend the point in the same place again). (P.S. Using the same button to select and remove abilities is uhhhh not the greatest design ever.)

    I'm still having this problem too. The combat in this game is so fun, except for this annoying fatal bug. Please fix it quickly.

    Yeah I’m on Xbox and my ultimate keeps switching too was fine before the patch.  So hope it gets fixed soon.  Not to annoying I just keep forgetting to check before I go into combat lol

    This is happening to me as well. I'll have Thunderous End equipped and it will just randomly switch back to Destructive Light on its own.

    Having same issue. Every time I load the game it resets my skills to what they were at beginning of the game. Playing on Xbox as rogue

    Yeah it happened to me twice. At first I thought I must be hitting some hotkey without realizing it but after a few seconds it reset. :/ Why

    Having the same problem on my Veil Ranger. It's really annoying bc the default rogue ultimate is kinda crappy. It's ridiculous that this has been up 17 days and they haven't responded to this yet; it's messed up a lot of battles
