Question

This app has been a nightmare to use since it's launch. I don't understand how a company that has been around as long as EA has could be so inept at designing a simple store. The fact that I can not launch a game I have owned and easily played for 10+ years without having to launch this bulls*t app is absolutely maddening. As someone who is on the go a lot I don't always have access to wifi and the app will not launch on a hotspot. As much love as I have for this game, your trainwreck of an app makes me want to give it up.

It's truly unfortunate that this company has been bastardized to this extent and that so many great games are shackled to this atrocity.

I have never been happy with EA app either. They took away the ability to manage game invites / join friends through the friends list, and also capped the friends list at 99.. Come on EA.

As someone who sunk nearly 4800 hours into Dragon Age Inquisition, most of which in the multiplayer, getting a lot of abroad friends by doing so, I feel it being way to cumbersome nowadays to play that game, due to the old netcode often causes you to be stuck in an infinite loading screen, if your ping is too high. With Origin, you could get around this by joining someone else's lobby, and then re-joining the player that you were going to play with.
This does not work anymore, and you are forced to restart the game, everytime this happens.
