My son uses my EA account on PS5 to play Battlefield 2042. I just bought 2042 on my Desktop. So I own two copies on two platforms but with the same account. Can we play with each other in the same game?
EA Staff (Retired)Hey thanks for taking up the question. Yes they are. I tried to find a solution online but couldn't find one. I eventually asked for refund and I created a new account for the PC and re-purchased the game under a new account. I toyed with the option of unlinking the accounts but all the warnings about removing access to games and progress kind of scared me. If there is a solution other that what I already did, I'd love to hear it. I'm sure other people would find it useful as well. I didn't find much by Googling it.
EA Staff (Retired)Same issue, have purchased madden on 3 different platforms with the same ea id attached to the accounts but when trying to play i get booted stating the game is already in use.
