Game Pass Expiry Error

It seems common that EA incorrectly chooses to tell you your game pass has expired. Most of the forum is this issue - or am I imagining the posts here???? EA also immediately tries to make you spend money to continue when it is simply an error by them. I wanted to play the f1 and golf because of the aussie gp and tpc sawgrass. I've played mostly on Xbox for the last few years but recently bought a pc. I have Game Pass Ultimate. I was able to download about 4 of the EA titles for future play about a week ago. Today I try to play and it says game pass expired. It is not expired. It renews 6 April for me and is paid up until then. The worst part is this is clearly predatory tactics. Why do i confidently assert this?  Because on Xbox you don't get this nonsense. It would work right now..... never had any issues, and the game just launches from the xb menu, no EA (cr)App which is worse than useless - but because I've bought a new pc and my xb is packed away at another residence, I don't have the features which constitute part of the reason I choose to maintain my XB Ultimate subscription. Unethical company policies. This issue has and will continue to cause people to leave Game Pass for good. It is simply a matter of time until Microsoft realise this partnership is doing them damage and stop this coat tail riding nonsense. I've followed EA since Populous and I'm 45 now.  EA wouldn't win a egg and spoon race these days. What a shame.

    Thanks for flagging this. We've received a number of reports about the Game Pass Error issue today and we're actively looking into it. EA_Leeuw shared this a few hours ago in our main thread on this:

    Hi everyone,

    Thank you for bringing the issue with the EA app to our attention, where you’re seeing the "Your Game Pass has expired" message despite having an active subscription and properly linked accounts. We’re aware of the problem and are currently working with Microsoft Xbox to determine the cause.

    In the meantime, we recommend refraining from any troubleshooting or making changes to your EA or linked accounts. Please hang tight – we're actively looking into it.

  • How many people was like omg and just renewed EA play without realizing they didn't need to?! A Multi-BILLON (WITH A B) dollar company using Predatory Tactics to make more money?! Wait what?! HEAR ME OUT!

    Nothing was done to the app/website in the last day/2 days. NOT A THING, but all the sudden EA thinks your game pass expired.. Weird huh? its almost like, intentionally... For real for something like this to happen (to a MASS amount of PC game pass players) it would have to be. YES I mean EA did this intentionally. I mean its pretty ingenious. Even if you get 10% of the game pass users to "renew" EA play they just made a killing this morning! 

    EA has been hush on this whole thing. Not a word, not a post. Hell not even a community manager to come on and say ANYTIHNG.... Predatory Tactics? Oh F yeah they are...
