Summarize your bug I just bought gamepass on pc, I installed crysis and battlefront 2. I noticed that for some reason the little tag above crysis that said "EA play" wasn't on battlefront 2. I don't own battlefront 2 on pc, just gamepass. It let me download the whole thing and it said it is part of my subscription, but when I launch the game, origin says "Invalid license. Reason code = Invalid Cipher (0x00006). I tried deleting origin and for some reason I still get this message. this is really weird becuase I am launching this through the new EA app, and origin is deleted off of my computer. help would be really awesome because I bought gamepass mostly for halo and battlefront 2, but I cant acess battlefront 2. (and yes it is gamepass ultimate, and yes other EA play games are working fine, just battlefront 2 that's not working).

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have origin installed, have gamepass download battlefront 2 from the EA app and see what happened

What do you expect to see? Hopefully a fix
to test this bug, I quickly downloaded knockout city and the "EA play" tag is there, so it is currently Battlefront 2 specific

Thanks for your visit to the forums & sorry to hear that you're having issues with launching SWBF2 via EA Play that you got via Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Just to double-check; do you get this error when you're trying to launch the game via EA Desktop, or Origin? I know that you mention that Origin isn't installed on your PC, but I still have a slight feeling that it is.
*To note: when claiming EA Play via Xbox Game Pass, you indeed need to use the EA Desktop app to download/launch EA Play for PC claimed games, because this is sadly not possible via Origin.
